Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms is a free browser-based MMORPG based on the novel A Song of Ice and Fire, created by George RR Martin. The developer Bigpoint and Artplanet – the maker of Battlestar Galactica Online – once again worked together to bring an epic MMO aimed specifically for fans of one of the best rated and most popular series shown on HBO.
Despite its 3D visuals and animations with a lot of spectacular effects, the game does not allow players to download a huge client before running the game. Instead, what is needed is to install a mini Unity Web player Plugin and it will be running on web browsers automatically.
Some players wonder if Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms has the same storyline featured in either Books or TV shows. In fact, The game world is set in the continent of Westeros, but to meed both mmo players and novel lovers, the game implemented three factions: Baratheon, Stark and Lannister. This does not mean, however, that a player is forced to join one of them since the possibilities are much wider, and the change will be possible as the development goes.
Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms focuses on PvP battles involving a very large number of players including solo battles, clan clashes and even the epic multiplayer online battles.
Besides, weapons, armor, and different types of artifacts are all true to what the TV shows offer. What’s more, the Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms conforms to a typical RPG in which you can upgrade weapons, swap experience points for all kinds of abilities or do side quests for rewards.
